Common Questions
How long will I be at the surgery center?
Most patients are at the center for a few hours total — including check-in, the procedure, and recovery. Your team will give you a more specific estimate based on your surgery.
Will I be able to drive myself home?
No. Because of anesthesia and sedation, you must arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours.
What should I do about my regular medications?
Your surgeon and anesthesia team will give you specific instructions on which medications to take or hold before surgery. Always follow those instructions exactly and ask if anything is unclear.
When can I eat before surgery?
You will receive clear fasting instructions before your procedure. Following them is important for your safety under anesthesia.
How much will my surgery cost?
Outpatient surgery centers are typically more affordable than hospitals for the same procedure. Our team verifies your benefits ahead of time and reviews your estimated costs with you before the day of surgery.
